In El Dorado your health is first

Self care is key to avoid and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please follow these guidelines to stay safe:

  • Wash your hands frequently throughout the day, and compliment with antibacterial gel whenever possible.
  • Always use a facemask inside the terminal and inside the aircraft.
  • Practice social distancing as much as possible.
  • Cover your sneeze with the inside of your elbow or cover your mouth with a tissue, use your hand only as a last resort.

International flights

Los viajeros internacionales que ingresen a Colombia, en los términos del artículo 1° de la resolución 2085 de 2021, deberán acatar las siguientes medidas:

Certification or vaccination card::

  • All international travelers 18 years of age and older entering Colombia, must present the vaccination certificate or card with complete scheme, having a minimum of 14 days from the date the scheme was completed.
  • The vaccination certificate or card may be presented physically or digitally.
  • The vaccines required will be those authorized by the World Health Organization or those officially approved by a country or territory recognized by the United Nations.
  • The Ministry of Health and Social Protection will publish in an informative manner the current lists of vaccines and approved schedules, on the web page and in the MinSalud digital application.

 

Foreigners, 18 years of age or older, non-residents in Colombia who do not have a complete vaccination schedule or who do not complete the 14 days after the completion of the schedule:

  • They may enter the country by presenting a PCR test with a negative result, issued no more than 72 hours prior to the initially scheduled date and time of embarkation.
  • If they have not started a vaccination scheme, they may not be exempted from the requirement of vaccination with a complete scheme, nor may they present proof as an alternative for entry.

Colombians, foreigners with permanent residence in Colombia, diplomats and their dependents of 8 years of age or older who do not have a complete vaccination schedule or who have not completed the vaccination schedule within 14 days:

 

  • They may enter the country by presenting a PCR test with negative result, issued no more than 72 hours prior to the initially scheduled date and time of boarding.   

 

All international travelers, whether nationals or not, must register through the Check-Mig application of the Special Unit of Migration Colombia.

Important:

  • All international travelers must register through the Check-Mig application, which can be found on the website www.migracioncolombia.gov.coThe process can be done 24 hours in advance and up to 1 hour before travel.
  • Travelers over 2 years of age must wear surgical masks during their stay at the airport and during the flight.
  • Arrive at the airport no more than 3 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.
  • On international flights, passengers may carry antibacterial or antiseptic gels and liquids in carry-on baggage in a maximum amount of 355 milliliters per person.

Domestic Flights

As of September 1st, El Dorado Airport is serving flights between Bogota and several destinations including Cartagena, Leticia, San Andrés, Rionegro, Cali, Barranquilla, Pereira, Santa Marta, Bucaramanga, Cúcuta, Montería, Medellín, Villavicencio and Pasto.

Passengers are to take into account the following information:

  • Arrive at least 2 hour prior to departure.
  • Download and use the local government’s CoronApp-Colombia and fill out the pertaining information on your health status.
