El Dorado committed to its passengers

Bogotá, 21 March. El Dorado is still understanding the situation of international travelers who are waiting for their flights to return to their country of origin, and is moving forward with the implementation of several measures to make their transit through the airport safer and more comfortable, considering the situation which airports are facing worldwide.
Since yesterday, International passengers were provided with food and beverages from brands such as Wing Stop, Presto, Katyos, Archies, Kokoriko, Oma, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King and Leños. These actions have been replicated by volunteers form the airport community, such as a flight attendant who brought food to share with some passengers.
In addition, rest areas were installed in public areas and waiting rooms across the terminal, these spaces have 224 portable beds and are disinfected every 5 hours for passengers to relax while their situation is resolved.
Passengers who wish to enter the rest areas will be reviewed by staff of the Colombian Red Cross who will take their temperature and ask them some questions on symptoms, which will assure that no passenger is at risk of infection. Once they enter the rest area they are provided with water.
Thus, El Dorado continues to work, supported by a team of professionals that is fully dedicated to serve all passengers and users of the terminal , regarding management, control and prevention of COVID-19.
