El Dorado Airport Communicates

Bogotá, March 2020. Taking into account the measures established by the National Government, the Mayor's Office of Bogotá, the Ministry of Health, Civil Aeronautics and Migration Colombia to mitigate the impact of COVID-19, we inform the public that they may be delays in flight deboardings, due to increased controls for tourists from countries with high risk countries such as: China, Japan, South Korea, Iran, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Ecuador and the United States.
For the correct implementation of this control, it is necessary that all national or foreign citizens who enter the national territory carry out the Preventive Control Against Coronavirus through a form that can be filled out on the Migración Colombia website:
This control is mandated for the purpose of collecting information that will allow the health authorities to act quickly in the event of any eventuality.
El Dorado has reinforced cleaning actions at the terminal in order to prevent the spread of the virus. In addition, to facilitate the different information channels of the airport to disseminate the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
It is important to take into account the recommendations of the Ministry of Health as key tools in self-care to avoid the contagion or transmission of COVID-19:
- Wash your hands frequently throughout the day.
- Wear a mask if you have a cough, fever, or other cold symptoms.
- Sneeze into your forearm or cover yourself with tissues, never into your hands.
- Avoid going to places of high influx of people if they have a cough, fever, runny nose and other symptoms such as a sore throat, headache or muscle aches.
- Ventilate and illuminate the spaces of the house and office.
- Ensure compliance with the preventive measures adopted in other respiratory infections.
