Domestic travel
For the movement within the national territory of dogs and cats, no health certification from the ICA is required. However, you need to contact your airline directly to find out the requirements you should consider when traveling with your pet.

International travel arrivals
If you need to enter Colombian territory with dogs or cats as accompanied baggage or those sent as cargo, you can register prior to your arrival in the country at the following link, in order to submit your request for entry inspection to the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) upon your arrival in the country and subsequent issuance of the Sanitary Inspection Certificate (CIS).

If you need to leave Colombian territory, you must go to the ICA office located at El Dorado International Airport with your pet for the respective documentary and physical inspection of the animal.
