Prohibited Items
According to the Colombian Aeronautical Regulations (RAC), there are items that cannot be carried in carry-on luggage, which is why the security personnel at the entry control checkpoint to the boarding gates do not allow them through. The prohibited items will be handled and disposed of according to the Security Plan of El Dorado International Airport (approved by the Civil Aviation Authority) and cannot be recovered at any time.
You can learn about these restrictions in advance through the visual aids located before entering the security checkpoints, where a scale suitcase displays the items that are not allowed in carry-on luggage.
