Learn about prohibited articles in air transport
According to the Colombian Aeronautical Regulations (RAC), there are articles that cannot be transported in hand luggage, which is why the security personnel at the control filter for entry to boarding gates do not allow their passage. Prohibited articles will be handled and disposed of as established in the El Dorado International Airport Security Plan (Approved by Civil Aeronautics) and cannot be recovered at any time.
You can learn about these restrictions beforehand through the visual aids located before entering the security filters, which display the items not allowed in hand luggage using a scale model suitcase.
Domestic Flights

Special Restrictions
LAGs (Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels) in containers larger than 100 ml, 100 gr, or 3.4 oz are not permitted.
For flights to the United States, the transport of powders and granulated substances exceeding 12 ounces (340 gr) is not permitted.
