15 Jaguars Land at El Dorado, Drawing Attention to Biodiversity
- A new artistic exhibition arrives at El Dorado Airport, this time starring the majestic jaguar—an emblem of tropical ecosystems and a cultural symbol of the Americas. This is JAGUART, an initiative led by El Coso, the artistic program of Fundación Corazón Verde, featuring works by renowned national and international artists.
- Travelers and visitors will be able to enjoy an exhibition of 15 large-format sculptures, which will be on display in the public area of Terminal 1 at El Dorado Airport from May 26 to June 2, 2025.
Bogotá, May 27, 2025. Fundación Corazón Verde, in partnership with El Dorado International Airport, presents the JAGUART exhibition—a showcase aimed at raising awareness about the critical state of the jaguar, currently classified as a vulnerable species, and highlighting its essential role in the continent’s biodiversity.
This initiative combines art, conservation, and social responsibility. The sculptures have been artistically transformed using various techniques, colors, and visual styles.
After the exhibition, all the pieces will be part of a charity auction, with proceeds going to the social programs of Fundación Corazón Verde, which support the families, widows, and orphans of Colombia’s National Police.
This alliance with Fundación Corazón Verde continues to position El Dorado as a cultural hub that inspires, transforms, and connects with social and environmental causes—reminding us that art is also a powerful tool for education and positive change. The exhibition will be open to the public in Terminal 1 from May 26 to June 2, 2025.
Since 2001, Fundación Corazón Verde has developed successful art exhibitions such as Arborizarte, Animarte, Equusarte, and Elevarte, bringing together more than 130 visual artists around the concept of art with purpose, resulting in over 400 artistically intervened pieces.
